Great Xmas light displays. My wife also takes the kids here in the summer to play in the splash pad area. The train and the DOUBLE DECKER carousel are awesome and the kids love them. We been to few birthday parties here as well. The park is clean, well maintained, and beautiful. Definitely one of the best parks around.
Initially it started off rough. Our immature waitress tried to squeeze our party of 6 at a table meant for four. After asking for a bigger table she copped HUGE negative attitude. I flagged down a different waitress and asked for better accommodations. She immediately moved us to a table better suited. Our new waiter was AMAZING!! He was perfectly attentive and set the rest of our visit on an enjoyable path. The food was fantastic as usual. Mean while, we watched the original waitress throw a temper tantrum by slinging chairs and condiments while moving two tables together to make room for another party of 6.
This place is Grand! The train ride is wonderful and carousel is fantastic and a double decker!!! The staff everywhere are knowledgeable, courteous, and very helpful with my special needs friend! He just loves everything about the park and so do I and his family. The Christmas lights were awesome as well. Thank you!
This park is huge. It has a carousel, train and 2 full sized kids playgrounds. There is also an amphitheater where they hold concerts and movie nights. It has plenty of covered cookout areas and there is almost always a birthday party happening. And did I mention the splash pad? It's open during summer, pretty much daily and is only $1.50 a person. It truly is a fun park.
Small park. However it has a splash pad, train ride, and a beautiful double decker carousel. The train and carousel costs extra to ride. Village Park is a very clean park. The restroom is very nice and clean. Events are planned at the park for each month. I strongly suggest attending an event at this park.
