Bought a blazer from here. Yeah it needed some work but its a buy here pay here lot. I knew what i was getting. I love my blazer & id buy from them again.
I've bought at least three cars there and never really had a major concern with any of them. Butch has always been good to us. If you want an overpriced used vehicle go to pethels.
If I could give it no stars I would. My mother in law was sold a POS of a pt cruiser. Check engine light came on the day after we picked it up. Came back a code for the battery and catalytic converter. Power steering pump was going. Supposedly passed inspection. Idles very high and radiator gurgled. Was told to put racing fuel in it to clear out the catalytic converter. And told thats what they do all the time to clear that code. A/c didnt work which we were never told. They came to get it when the payment wasnt made due to the issues. Oh and they admitted to tracking the GPS trying to say we made multiple trips out of state with the vehicle and that they were watching us. Stay away unless you want to get completely ripped off.
Everyone that I know who got there vehicles from Powells auto sales has had trouble with there vehicles.They say that the vehicals passed inspection, but when they are inspected when the vehicles are bought they dont pass. I know 3 people that that happened too. I checked on the better business bureau and there is a bad review there as well. I have only seen 1 good review about Powells and that is from a person that works there.
I work here so of course Im going to say its a great place to get a car. However one of the things I love about these reviews is that we havent sold a car to a single one of them. None of these people have bought a car from here and just to clear things up, it is against the law to sell car car from a dealer that hasnt already passed inspection so the very first review is extremely false. We always try to work with people and get you the best deal. We dont do credit checks nor do we charge interest. I say, Come on down and see for yourself.
